PROJECT 2: A POSTER ABOUT ME

As part of our school project on the local holiday, we studied the poster for the holiday:

Samuel Akinfenwa Onwusa designed the poster.

He was born in Zaragoza and studied art in this city. 

After agreeing on the common elements that all the class  identified, we looked at another artist's depiction of moving people: Keith Haring's "We are the Youth".

Then, students invented a poster celebrating their own lives, with moving people and objects about their favorite activities. 

Our Art teachers make selections from an artist's work to exhibit and discuss with the class based on our learning objectives. Other work by the same artists may be less relevant or appropriate for students.  Please investigate responsibly and as a family.
