Happy Thanksgiving in Rosario's class

We have been studying the origin and importance of Thanksgiving for several days, working in our books, rehearsing for the skit on the blog and decorating feathers of thankfulness with Rosario, Noelia and Emily. Our newest student Fatima has taught us how to write Thank you in her first language as well.

This morning we celebrated the holiday with our linked class, MªAngeles' three year olds. We projected our skit and learned about how this holiday is important, 400 years ago and today! We helped our youngest team members tranfer their thankfulness to feathers we used to decorate the school's turkey. We also created the two different boats the European and Native American cultures used: the canoe and the ship. In line with the holiday, we shared a snack before playtime.

Thank you MªAngeles' class for inviting us and playing!
